Angry Bird (for Halloween)

This is not how I found it at the thrift store.


The "Bowl with Bird" is carved out of wood, and quite heavy.

Did you notice that one of his wing tips is broken? No, I didn't notice it either until I got him home. And there's a crack in the bowl part too. (That often happens when I'm thrifting- I'm too excited to notice the flaws!)

But I was able to patch him up and rebuild his wing with some paperclay... and then I used flat black spray paint I already had on hand.

I like how he turned out- perfect for this Halloween time of year!

    You did a great job of fixing the wing. I love it. It is perfect for this season. I probably would have purchased it even if I knew it was broken and cracked. I would have been restoring it as you did. Have a great weekend!
