And this is what arrived in the mail yesterday!
I ordered these from Tennessee Quilts http://www.tennesseequilts.com/cgi-bin/Store/store.cgi on Friday noon, and they arrived on Monday! They are 1/2 yards of Kaffe Fassett Shot Cottons. You gotta love the names- Thunder. Pool. Persimmon. Bittersweet. Veridian. You get the idea. YUMMY! I'll be using a bit of each of these this week.
Color just makes me happy!

Did you make the wool table runner? It's wonderful! And the shot cottons are among my many favorite fabrics. And you know how I feel about Tennessee Quilts!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Can't wait to come home for Thanksgiving!!!

Nice colours! And those plates are fabulous!!! I love them. Are they leaves?
ReplyDeleteHelen, wish I could take credit for the wool runner- but it was comercially made, and a gift from a friend.
ReplyDeleteSarah, The plates are just round and ruffled- one of my favorite second-hand finds at Value Village!
Kate- Miss you, and looking forward to seeing you soon!

Love the runner, love the pumpkins, love that you find so many great things at VV and I find nothing...oh wait, I DON'T LOVE THAT AT ALL! It's been all miss and no hit lately...but I'll keep trying...oh, especially love the new fabric! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
ReplyDeleteI've really been enjoying your blog since I just recently found it. I'm looking forward to see what you come up with that beautiful new fabric. Can you tell me what the name of the fabric is that Ardith used for the quilt with 12 borders? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSusan, Sorry I, thought I'd posted Ardith's answer! She said she has no idea! She said she'd collected various fabrics over several years, and then didn't keep track of what any of it was!
ReplyDeleteArdith was collecting "soft but not washed out colors" that just had the right feel to them. She did a good job of that! :D
