Three Dollar Quilt
I hate to see things go to waste. But I love to see things used in creative ways- where the results are far greater than the parts... This quilter made great use of a wonderful find!
This quilt is the reason I started quilting. After my grandmother passed two years ago I found some fabric blocks she had saved. Not realizing how many blocks it took to make a quilt I decided to make this "scrappy" quilt. I began buying material to make blocks (so NOT the way to make a scrappy quilt), discovered quilting blogs and flickr, and I was hooked. I have about 150 blocks made, I think I will pull out my now overflowing scrap bin and work on this again along with my other 5 quilts going on. Thanks for showing it.
